Welcome to the fifth biennial Treasure State Art Show. This event was conceived ten years ago by a group of Museum benefactors and artists to serve the dual purpose of providing an endowment fund for the Ravalli County Museum and promoting the arts in the Bitter Root Valley. The Treasure State Art show has grown in popularity since the first show in July 2000. Now, over 150 artists and 1,200 art connoisseurs from all over the country participate in this fabulous three-day event. Original art from professional western artists will be offered for sale at the upcoming show. The event has helped contribute over $400,000 to the Ravalli County Museum Endowment fund.

In 2008 the show will be held on the grounds of the Ravalli County Fairgrounds in Hamilton Montana in the Bitterroot Valley. Copper King Marcus Daly chose the beautiful Bitterroot Valley as the location for his summer home. The Bitter Root Valley backs up to 3.3 million acres of national wilderness riddled with rivers and creeks providing fantastic recreational opportunities in the Rocky Mountains.

Come Join us to view the incredible display of Western Artists in a Beautiful Valley!
